Living in the Heart part 4
A Path to Lasting Happiness

Buddha's Four Noble Truths

Buddha presented the path to freedom and lasting happiness in his legendary explanation known as the Four Noble Truths. These four - suffering, origin, cessation and path - give us a clear analysis of both the problem and the solution. The problem is that there is suffering in our lives. This suffering arises from our own mind, in particular disturbed states of mind such as anger and ignorance. Through learning to identify our underlying misperceptions we can remove the causes of suffering from our mind. Putting these methods into practice, through meditation and training in our daily life, is the path to lasting happiness and freedom. This joyful path can be practiced by everyone.

In this course Kadam Morten will present the four noble truths and show how we can integrate these practices into our daily life. Everyone welcome.
