Vajra Light Buddhist Center

Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, founded Vajra Light Buddhist Center (VLBC) in 2000. The Center makes the special methods for developing inner peace taught within Kadampa Buddhism available to all in Westchester and neighboring counties.

VLBC was originally a branch of Chakrasambara Buddhist Center in New York City with which it remains closely affiliated.

VLBC is a member of the International Union of Kadampa Buddhist centers with over 1000 Centers worldwide.
